The Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club to celebrate 1st birthday with a Traditional Luau

 The Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club and Mahina & Sun’s are preparing to celebrate one year since officially opening with a 1st Birthday Luau on Saturday, July 15 from 12 noon – 4:30 p.m.

The Surfjack, in partnership with the
Wāhea Foundation, will host a first birthday luau featuring hula, music, lei-making, pahu (drum) craving, pa'i'ai kui (pounding) and other cultural demonstrations throughout the day in the Surfjack cabanas and on the restaurant lanai.

Waikiki’s Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club invites locals and visitors to join in celebrating its 1st birthday at a luau celebration to be held on Saturday, July 15 from 12 noon – 4:30 p.m. 

Mahina & Sun’s will offer a Hawaiian Plate complete with lau lau, poi, lomi salmon, and kalua pork. In addition to traditional Hawaiian activities hosted by the Wāhea Foundation, the luau will feature performances by Na Kamalei Halau, Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning group Keauhou, and more.
